Duke Chiropractic has been established in the Midtown area of New York City since 1992. Beyond their Chiropractic Degrees, all doctors are faculty members of the American Council on Exercise and have numerous Post Doctorate Certifications in Sports and Spinal Rehab, Strength and Conditioning, and Nutrition. The doctors are frequently consulted by many of the health clubs in the New York Metropolitan area, including Equinox and Crunch. The doctors continually educate the personal training community on topics that address the reduction of exercise-related injuries. The doctors regularly provide special exercise regimens to their patients, taking into consideration their existing medical conditions


DOCTOR SCOTT DUKE

Dr. Scott G. Duke DC, DACBSP, is a graduate of the New York College of Chiropractic. He received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from University of Maryland and received an additional bachelors of Science in Human Anatomy from the National College of Chiropractic, Illinois. He earned a diplomate from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians and is an expert in the field of athletic and spine rehabilitation. Dr. Duke specializes in soft tissue management, “A.R.T.” Active Release Technique and sports Biomechanics enhancing sports running performance and preventing spine surgery.

Past experiences include: Physician team captain at NYC Marathon, strength coach for Chicago Blackhawks (NHL), and Sports Chiropractor for the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs as well as numerous other world, national and local sports venues.

He has lectured and published numerous scientific papers on enhancing sports performance as well as consulting many elite health clubs in the NYC area on personal training and injury prevention. Dr Duke is author of the Crunch Health Clubs “Perfect Posture book” and designed and implemented nationally a Standardized Stretching Manuel for Bally’s Health Clubs.

Dr Duke enjoys swimming, biking, running and competing in Multi-Sport triathlons.
