ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dr. Scott G. Duke, the author of BACK IN ACTION, is the principal owner at Duke Chiropractic, a multi-sport and spine rehabilitation facility in New York City. He specializes in the treatment and prevention of sport, spine and soft-tissue injuries
In addition to serving yearly as one of the official physician team captains for professional athletes at the New York City Marathon and past Triathlons, Dr. Duke was also selected as a sports chiropractor for the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Dr. Duke has been published by Self, Allure, Menís Health, Runner's World and many other magazines.
Dr. Duke is a graduate of the New York College of Chiropractic. He received his BS in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, and earned an additional BS in Human Anatomy from the National College of Chiropractic in Chicago, where he worked as a student researcher and scientist in the Spinal Ergonomics and Biomechanics Laboratory. Later, Dr. Duke earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic from the New York College of Chiropractic, and went on to achieve Diplomate status in sports medicine from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians; only 200 professionals in the country have been awarded this status.
